Max Bupa Health Insurance, a healthcare sector brand has always propagated the belief, ‘Health Comes First’. So, when the nation was not thinking health-first, Max Bupa stepped up to remind everyone of their responsibility in the fight against COVID-19 and honour the relentless efforts of doctors.
To achieve the same, Max Bupa conceptualised and released The Civilian’s Oath, a nation’s oath for the doctors. Just like every doctor in the world swears to The Hippocratic Oath (The Doctor’s Oath) that they will dedicate their lives to saving lives. On 1 July 2020 on National Doctor’s Day, the brand decided to honor the sacrifices and efforts of healthcare workers by taking a pledge for them. The Civilian’s Oath was a wake-up call for the entire nation, residing in the Tier 1, Tier 2, and Tier 3 cities of the country.
Released as a video on YouTube, The Civilian’s Oath was also published across the brand’s social handles. As people at home were busy scrolling through their social media, we released a digital version of the oath for the viewers to screenshot, sign and share it in their stories. But this was not all, many social media celebrities picked up the words from the oath and recited the same in their videos. Till date, the oath has been taken by 1,010,363 people and received 639,624 Video Views across digital platforms including YouTube, Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook. The words from the oath reached many corners of the nation and garnered 2,735,031 Impressions.
